Do you still watch non VFX movies ?
Honestly ? I don't have the time to watch a lot of films. And because I want to see what the other studios have done, I barely watch only VFX movies...
I'd love to see more non VFX movies...
What about you ?

I did watch "Mud" on the last week end.... really good movie and pretty much no VFX even If Method studio is credited... So I would rather say so VFX visible.

I actually tend to prefer movies with less vfx these days. It seems so rare to get films with heavy vfx that still have a good script. Every so often a great script and great vfx come together to really tell an amazing story, like Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, The Dark Knight etc, and that is always a fantastic treat.

Ah man! I like a bit of old school stuff like Goonies, the Italian Job (Michael Caine) and Trading Places (80's Eddie Murphy was good!), I've got a lot of love for the old comedies, Monty Python for definite! Holy Grail and Life of Brian are well used DVD's. Sadly they really don't make them like they used to...

I think all what really matters from a film is the story, it is the soul. Everything else makes it even bigger.
I saw "Searching for sugar man" the last weekend. If you haven't seen them yet....highly recommend! (non VFX movie)
