some Color/Colour theory

Post by Romain on Sun Jun 16, 2013 12:12 am

Hi guys,

I would like to start a topic about some Color theory. Ludo/Nick will add some infos about the relation between photoshop and other package sotwares. But let's start with some theory.

Let's start with Color:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RGB_color_model

Color Depth:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_depth

Gamma vs Linear Space: (part 1 and 2. source :http://www.pixsim.co.uk/)

Hope this make sense and that's not too boring. After all, it's good to understand what we are doing.
