Why did you choose DMP/Env ?
There are a lot if departments in the VFX industry, and I wondered why you choose the DMP/Env instead of FX, Compositing, animation, lighting or layout.

Re: Why did you choose DMP/Env ?
Hey Ludo,
I know this is a really old thread, but I think it is interesting. For me I actually am a compositor in the business. I am here for a few reasons. I have always been really into environments, because I feel you can tell an entire story by how you portray your scene.
I've always wanted to be a matte painter, but just never had the right direction into the industry. So I'm using this workshop to one build a matte painting portfolio, and also need up my compositing reel with projects I have full control over rather than studio shots with little creative freedom.
So, I can not thank you guys enough for this forum. I think it's a great thing and I can not wait to grow as a dmp
